WHAT IS AN ENVIRONMENTALIST?
An environmentalist cares about the protection of the natural environment; they in turn usually believe that pollution, climate change, and the extinction of species are dangerous to not only the natural habitat but too human life on earth.
WHAT IS CLIMATE CHANGE?
Climate change (aka Global Warming) is the changing of regional or global climates over a period of time. When this group talks about climate change we refer too human made climate change. Human made climate change usually comes through the usage of too much energy, and most of all Fossil Fuels (example; oil, this create carbon dioxide). Climate Change can result in the melting of the Antarctic and Greenland Ice sheets; it has dried up Lake Chad (Africa); and it has caused droughts! The United Nations has confirmed Climate Change too be one of the greatest threats too human kind, but it seems no one listens, are you listening?

Yea... that was what i was talking about... I live here in San Jose, CA. and who knows where we could meet... we live all over the world.
so that would really be a problem... but probably some of us who live in the same area could meet up and then we could all talk in this group. ^^
That way we could make a difference! ^^

Wow I like that there is a place were people can talk about saveing the planet!
I was just wondering...um...well...could there be a way we could all meet up in a place and like... I dunno... plant some trees and/or pick up trash... though we might not all be able to come...Maybe it could happen...
